A relative weekend

This past weekend was spent mostly with family, it was my cousin Hamish's 21st party on Saturday night and as Ruth is away on holidays Mum & Dad stayed at my place. The party was good, my cousin Lachlan (Hamish's younger brother) and his band played, I got to catch up with various cousins and other people there and drink free champagne!

Sunday arvo was spent at the MCG watching the Essendon v Melbourne game with other cousins in what was the last round of the AFL home & away season, unfortunately Essendon didn't win (although it was a good game, quite close in the end) it was still good to spend time in the lovely Melbourne weather (it was 23C!!) with family and catch up with what everyone is up to.
