My name in print
I know I have yet to update on what I've been up to in the 6 weeks since I got back from my trip...people keep reminding me don't worry!! But I thought I'd post this today while I remembered.A few weeks back I was interviewed by someone from The Age about meetup groups and internet social groups, because I'm the organiser of the Melbourne Bookcrossing meetup group, I didn't know if anything I said would be included in the article but then last week we had a photographer from The Age come along to our monthly meetup and take a heap of photos. We were all thinking, this is good bookcrossing publicity!
But alas it was not too be, our photo that is, my name made it into the article and they briefly mention bookcrossing so that is better than nothing. If you want to read the article it was published in yesterdays paper (Monday 20th June) on page 4 of the Metro section or can you read it online here, you may need a fairfax log in though.
